Meet Brian Carter:


Brian Carter is a lifelong resident of District 1, a dedicated public servant, small business owner, and proud family man. He has served the Paragould Fire Department since 1999 and currently holds the rank of Division Chief and Fire Marshal, bringing over two decades of frontline leadership and public safety experience.

In addition to his service in the fire department, Brian and his wife, Dr. Emily Carter, own the Paragould Animal Clinic and run a cattle farm in Greene County. They have one son, Will, and attend First United Methodist Church in Paragould.

Brian is a Certified Law Enforcement Officer, holds a Fire Science Certificate from Black River Technical College, and is a proud Greene County Tech graduate. A former carpenter, volunteer, and pilot, he’s deeply invested in the future of his community.

He’s running for State Representative to champion public safety, infrastructure investment, criminal justice reform, and economic development — all with a strong focus on real-world, local solutions.
